Tri w/Kayak

I mtn biked Hale Reservation a Saturday and Sunday and it was all good.

Looking ahead... Jordan brought my attention to the DW Fields Tri in Brockton is a 14.5-mile bike race, a 1-mile canoe/kayak leg on Waldo Lake, and a 10K run.
http://www.dwftriathlon.org/WebSite/Main.htm?1143575622660 I think it's on-road biking so that should be relatively easy. The secret to doing well in a kayak/canoe race is to use a kayak, not a canoe! The 10K run scares me a bit. Might have to team up.

I'll Be Back

Allrighty then! It's been 4 months and it's spring. My neck is a lot better. I have bunch of exercises and stretches that I do regularly so it should eventually go away completely. Let's hope so. So that whole issue has gone from being a big problem to being just a nuisance.

My bike is modified. It's time to try to get back into biking. I went road biking a couple of times in the winter and I've gone a couple times off road in the past month. I took it pretty easy and it didn't seem to make make my neck worse so I'll keep pushing it. I'm going to try to get into regular swimming, too.

I am working with Hale to help organize their upcoming 2006 kids-to-camp triathlon. More on that later.
